Fusion will assist clients in meeting all obligations under the, Building Regulations (as amended by the Building Safety Act 2022) which is applicable to all building work subject to the Building Regulations, regardless of whether it is a Higher-Risk Building or not.
With a dedicated team we can offer the Building Regulations Principal Designer (BR PD) role.
We work collaboratively with the design team to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the design process, ensuring that the design, if constructed, complies with all applicable requirements of the Building Regulations. We facilitate effective communication and coordination between designers, the client and the Principal Contractor, review design information for compliance, and take reasonable steps to ensure that all designers fulfil their statutory duties in delivering a coordinated, compliant design.
All dutyholders have legal responsibilities under the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended). They must work collaboratively to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate design and construction activities to ensure that the completed building complies with the applicable requirements of the Building Regulations.
